שיפוץ לחיבור בין שתי קומות קיימות, באמצעות מהלך מדרגות פנימי. התכנון עסק בשימור האור הטבעי ונופי הגינה, תוך הענקת פרטיות והגנה ממזג האוויר.

A two story house in the middle of the jungle. Existing structural columns, strange angles and very small livable space.
The owner wanted to create independent hospitality units on the ground floor, and move the family of parents and two children to the first floor.
Having to maintain the original columns and work around the unorthodox geometry of the house, called for some creative solutions.
The new design nearly doubled the floor space of the existing house. Keeping the original structure and adding additional supports where needed.
The new planning included demolishing the internal partitions on the ground floor to better divide the space. The stairs were moved to become an external addition. This allows for separate and private entrance to the family home on the first floor, as well as maximizing the space for another room.
The first floor became a spacious family home. Walking in to an open kitchen and living area with amazing views. Including an ensuite master bedroom, and two additional bedrooms with a shared bathroom.
